Abstract

We are pleased to present the proceedings of 2026 International Conference on Data Science and Engineering Management (DSEM 2026), held in Liverpool, UK. The conference focuses on how advanced data-driven methodologies—including machine learning, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and optimization theory—can be integrated into engineering management processes to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and system intelligence. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, intelligent engineering systems, data-driven project management, supply chain analytics, smart manufacturing, industrial digital twins, risk assessment and prediction, resource optimization, and the application of AI in complex engineering environments. The papers included in this volume were selected after a rigorous peer-review process.
