Plagiarism Policy

Series of Conferences Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. All submitted manuscripts must be original works and free from plagiarism in any form.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Direct copying of text, data, images, or ideas without proper citation

  • Paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without acknowledgment

  • Self-plagiarism, including redundant or duplicate publication without disclosure

  • Improper citation or misrepresentation of sources

Plagiarism Detection

All submitted manuscripts are screened using reliable plagiarism detection software prior to peer review. Manuscripts found to contain unacceptable levels of similarity will be rejected or returned to authors for correction.

Acceptable Similarity Threshold

  • A similarity index of up to 15% may be considered acceptable, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases.

  • Any single-source similarity exceeding 5% may be subject to further investigation.

Editorial Actions

If plagiarism is detected at any stage (submission, review, or post-publication), the journal may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript

  • Request for revision or clarification

  • Retraction of the published article

  • Notification to authors’ institutions or funding bodies, where necessary

Author Responsibility

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their manuscripts. All sources must be properly cited, and permissions obtained for any copyrighted material used.

Appeals

Authors may submit a written explanation or appeal if they believe a plagiarism finding is inaccurate. The editorial board’s decision after review shall be final.
