Research on the Architecture Design of Future Optical Communication Systems Driven by Digital Signals

This article explores the architectural design of future optical communication systems driven by digital signals. With the deep impetus of the digitalization trend, optical communication, as the dominant transmission mode of information networks, is facing the demands for higher transmission rates, larger capacity, and lower latency. Digital signal processing technology, with its unique advantages, plays a crucial role in optical communication systems. This article analyzes the current development status and challenges of optical communication systems, elaborates on the connotation and advantages of digital signal-driven, and proposes the architectural design of future optical communication systems based on digital signal driving, including the design of the physical layer, network layer, and application layer. Finally, it discusses the application prospects and challenges of this architecture.Downloads
